WILD ROSE AVIARY CANADA CELEBRATES NAPC 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A DAY OF DEBATE, STRATEGY, AND HISTORIC DOCUMENTATION

As part of the ongoing celebrations marking the 10th Anniversary of the North America Province Council (NAPC) of the Aviary Club of Nigeria, the Wild Rose Aviary Canada hosted a remarkable intellectual and strategic gathering dedicated to reflection, planning, and legacy building. Rather than a traditional celebration, Wild Rose Aviary chose a thoughtful and forward-looking approach. The chapter spent the day debating, deliberating, and analyzing how far the NAPC has grown in the last decade and more importantly, what the future should look like in the next 20 years.

Members examined the chapter’s journey, its challenges, its progress, and the evolution of the Aviary culture across North America. Key questions were raised and answered:

• How do we document our history for future generations?

• What systems should be in place to capture milestones, leaders, and achievements?

• How do we maintain unity and identity as a global organization?

The conversation emphasized the importance of proper documentation, archiving, digital record-keeping, leadership manuals, and standardized reporting. The goal is to ensure that the story of the Aviary, from its pioneers to its present heroes is preserved and accessible.

This special anniversary event was not only educational it was historic. Wild Rose Aviary has contributed significantly to the long-term vision of the NAPC by placing emphasis on knowledge, structure, and continuity. Their effort shows maturity, wisdom, and true commitment to the advancement of the Aviary Club of Nigeria.

As celebrations continue across other chapters in the province, Wild Rose Aviary has set a high standard: anniversaries should not only be moments of joy, but moments of reflection, planning, and responsible leadership.
